Frans Pauwels Memorial Community Bicycle Center opens!

WashCo BTC is proud to open a community bicycle center that offers "anything bicycle" here in Washington County, where anyone can repair a bike, buy a used one, and learn how and where to ride. The center will offer classes focused on motorists and bicyclists sharing the road, pointers for the everyday commuter, and classes in advanced bicycle maintenance and handling skills. Community rides and group ride clinics for the uninitiated also will be available.

Check out more info on the center!

Kissler's Cyclery Donation

A generous donation has been made by Dirk Pauwels, owner of Kissler’s Cyclery in Beaverton, which was first opened in 1968. Dirk is closing the business and is donating ALL the tools and equipment needed for a professional/retail bike shop to WashCo BTC. Valued at around $30,000, this generous gift will provide valuable resources for WashCo BTC. Thank you Dirk!
